Day1: Vientiane – Arrival

Day: 2 Vientiane Sight-seeing (B)
This morning we visit the highlight of Laos capital as you will have the chance to observe the Buddhism at WAT SISAHET temple where is believed as the Most sacred holy monastery since this temple never has been destroyed from any outside invasion among others were ruined down by many different means; there are many Buddha images are still remained and displayed around the compound.
We cross the street to pay our respect to “Haw PRAKEO” the Emerald Buddha sculpture “SIM” of a most holy and soul respect for centuries.
Following by “THAT LUANG STUPA the LANDMARK of Laos since LANXANG kingdom, the gilded STUPA symbolizes the most holy place for all of Lao people.
Victory gate of “PATUXAY” is the pride of the country after long time of distribution of men and women spent the hard time for more than 30 years to have it in front of the world.
Day3: Vientiane – Vangvieng (B)
Buddha Park (XIENGKHOUAN) is an open-air sculpture park with giant sculptures of Buddha and Hindu deities. Located 25km southeast of Vientiane, the park was founded in 1958 by monk and sculpture artist, BOUNLUASULILA As he studied both Buddhism and Hinduism, you’ll find not only statues of Buddha, but also of Hindu gods, deities, demons, and animals from both beliefs. The statues are as impressive in size as they are in detail. Standouts at Buddha Park include a 40-metre reclining Buddha, INDRA (a Hindu god) a 2-headed elephant, and a 4-armed deity riding a horse. After lunch, you will have a leisure time to stroll around every corner of the ambiance of this little capital Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane at hotel
Breakfast at the hotel; we will then be transferred by “High speed” train “or by high way to VANGVIENG town”, VANGVIENG means the nestle of hometown or country, there are so many interesting activities for you to experience such as caving, river activities, blue-lagoon, cycling, biking or even more.
We will have the good chance to visit “THAMNANGNONE” the Angle cave which will present you the very beautiful limestone cave inside with some stories and alike shapes of believed hidden lives.
Lunch will be served in the compound of this park at charming terrace by the bank of Nam Song River.
After the delicious lunch, we will sail down on the river to visit “Tham Jang” another well-known beautiful limestone cave.

Day4: Vang Vieng – Half day Exploration (B)
This morning we start with drive 25km for enjoy the scenery of limestone mountainous city. Arriving at blue lagoon
More than 30 minutes outside of VANGVIENG this lagoon is set deep inside the limestone peaks which itself is a amazing scenery. The lagoon has clear and cool water so it is really refreshing on a normal day. There are also some very funny activities to do like a zip line to jump into the water. Compared to the other blue lagoons it is the most beautiful one and also less crowed. All in all, it is perfect for a half day trip and can easily be combined with the Nam XAY viewpoint.

Day 5 Vangvieng – Luang Prabang (B)
Early breakfast at the hotel and then hurry up to train station for the most interesting destination of LUANGPRABANG claimed as “World Heritage City”, spending around two hours on the train through the stunning view and dark tunnels, you will then arrive in beautiful quiet and friendly lovely LUANGPRABANG! Thought you will heartily love to even live here!
After refreshment; we undertake the leisurely walk to visit the remarkable sites of the “World Heritage City” the best destination of the world assured by Wanderlust for 5 years consecutively
Early breakfast at the hotel and then hurry up to train station for the most interesting destination of LUANGPRABANG claimed as “World Heritage City”, spending around two hours on the train through the stunning view and dark tunnels, you will then arrive in beautiful quiet and friendly lovely LUANGPRABANG! we start the tour with visiting the officail residence of king, former royal palce,built in 1904, in a style that reflected LAO and french infrucences, a houses a collection that includes ferniture, ceremonial and religious artifacts and gifts from foreign envoys, as well as the PRABANG buddha image, the solid gold 1st century standing buddha from which the town derives it name.
WATMAI temple was built in 1797. the five- tiered roof on the temple SIM is in the LUANGPRABANG style and is noted for the richly decorated gold relief walls, every LAO new year the PRABANG is moved to WATMAI from the former king’s palace, here it is put on bublic display so the townsfolk can wash the buddha image, and make the offerings to gain merit for the year ahead.
WAT VISOUN temple was constructed in 1513 during the reign of VISOUNARATH king. The temple was rebuilt with balistraded window, built from brick and stucco but made to look like turned wood and a roof that slopes sideway over the terrace-features that are unique in LAO temple artchitecture
WAT AHAM the first temple was built in 1527, but the present SIM is a reconstruction sating from 1818 there are two large old banyan trees in the grounds which are revered as spirit shrines and are purported to house the THEVADALUANG PUYER and YAYER, the tute lary of the city
XIENGTHONG temple the luangprabang’s most magnificent temple and arguably one of the most beautiful temples in lao. Built around 1560. At a time when the langxang kingdom was at its height, the sim is classic example of luangprabang style of temple architecture with a multiple tiered roof that sweep dow to the ground. Day 6 KUANGSI water fall (alms’ giving) (B)

5:30 the morning alms round (in LAO: TAKBAT) is a living Buddhist tradition for the people of LUANGPRABANG, for many hundreds of years, a major attraction for visitors to the town.
And then visiting local fresh morning market, opens every day about 5:00 am, and must see for food lovers and for those who enjoy the local life in market. On offer a vast selection of seasonal fruits, vegetables, meat and fish as well as many other local “delicacies”7:30 an returning back to the hotel for breakfast.

Set amongst picturesque jungle and offering a tranquil break from LUANGPRABANG sightseeing, you are able to take a refreshing swim in the crystal waters of the lowers pools and climb to the top of the main falls. Day7: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B)
Caves in the cliffs on the Mekong filled with 1000’s of Buddha images 25 Kilometers North of LUANGPRABANG in the limestone cliffs overlooking the Mekong River are the Pak Ou caves, a 16th century cave monastery filled with thousands of Buddha images.
Getting to the caves across the Mekong River means a scenic boat ride with great views of the Limestone Mountains and riverside life. Place of worship for centuries the caves have been a place of worship for centuries, as people believed they are inhabited by the spirits of the river. According to Laos legend, the caves were discovered in the 16th century by King Setthathirath, one of Laos’ greatest Kings, who built monuments as the Wat Xieng Thong and the Pha That Luang
On the way back to the city we stop at Laos’s traditional whisky of XANGHAI village :It is famous for Lao Laos (homemade alcohol) which is available for tasting and purchase. A variety of handicrafts are also for sale here. Lao-Lao is an integral part of Lao culture. It’s used in important blessing ceremonies and you will likely be offered a shot of the firewater (or a large glass!) in a village visit, no matter what time of day. Accepting a shot or even a sip is a sure way to make fast friends with the locals. It’s also a sure way of instantly growing chest hairs. It’s impressive how rudimentary and traditional the method is, still using an open fire and earthen jars. A sign explains the set up and you can ask to try some. You’ll find that it’s fairly neutral in flavor. Alcohol content should be around 40% — but who really knows. In case you are wondering about the name, the first word “Laos” means “alcohol”. The second “Lao” is a different word spoken in a different tone; it refers to the country. Overnight in Luangprabang
Day 8 LUANGPRABANG – Nongkiew By Road and Boat Trip (B)

And arriving NONGKIEAW for lunch, 1:30 pm after lunch we start with city sight-seeing including TAMPHATOK cave, PHAKUANG cave
Day 9: NONGKIEW – MUANGNGOI (B)
6:00 am this morning we climb up PHASOMNANG view point to see sunrise and 360 degrees of MUANGNGOI district.
8:30 take a boat up to MUANGNGOI picturesque little fishing village 1 hour upstream from NONGKHIEW. We then visit SOPJAM village, where the home made of traditional weaving textile, we then continue through to THAMDANG cave, which only access by foot, After lunch, we back to MUANGNGOI, through a mixture of forest and paddy field scenery. Before boarding the boat back to NONGKHIEW, you may wish to do as the locals do and bathe in the Nam OU. On the way we stop at LUE tribe at NAYANG village The village, set in a lush river valley is a model of traditional cultural life.
The elegant stilted houses stood filled with looms, cotton ready for spinning spilled out of baskets and colorful yarns dried in the sun many communities throughout Laos and Thailand, often as farmers living in simple stilt houses. Tai Lue women wear long colorful sinhs and typically wear their long black hair done up in a fan-like bun on top of their heads. They are well known for their ornate motifs woven into silk and cotton textiles.
We return to LUANGPRABANG by late
evening.Overnight in Luangprabang
Day10 Luangprabang – Departure (B)
After breakfast then it’s free time till transfer to the airport or train station.
